About the INSPIRE Study

Participant contributions are the cornerstone of INSPIRE. We are dedicated to hearing participants' voices, capturing their experiences, and making meaningful progress towards better understanding the long-term effects of COVID-19. As the COVID-19 pandemic has changed over time, we have adapted INSPIRE to ensure that we are collecting information based off of cutting-edge research and real time information.

In the initial phase of INSPIRE, we collected participant responses through quarterly surveys and participants' electronic health records. We were also able to distribute a longer survey with new questions at the end of this initial phase.

In the recent extension of INSPIRE, we again collected participants' responses in an additional survey and are currently working to analyze these responses.

Currently, we are working to extend INSPIRE’s scope and offer additional ways participants can contribute in the future, including an interventional study for participants with Long COVID. Eligible participants will be contacted about additional opportunities to continue participating in the future.

*The INSPIRE Study is not currently accepting new participants.
